Who is W8IO?

My name is Roger Cox.  I used to be WB0DGF and used to live in Lincoln, Nebraska.  I now live in Spring Lake, Michigan, not too far from Grand Rapids.  Here is more information about both me and my new callsign, W8IO.

Henry 3002A 144 MHz amplifier

Optimized LPDA - Loggi Antenna

This project consists of an attempt to design Narrow-Band Optimized Log-Periodic Dipole Arrays which have the same or better performance characteristics (VSWR, Gain, Front-to-Back, Front-to-Rear, high G/T, etc) as those of a similar boom-length monoband Yagi.  I call this new type of antenna - Loggi (Log - Yagi).

For details on a 20m Loggi, follow this link:  Optimized-LPDA
